Sometimes you just have to take advantage of the last few weeks of winter! The hubs and I got out of the city for a much needed snow day. Most weeks I am editing portfolio work, working on commercial jobs, or editing at my computer. Between all that, I am working on new blog posts & prepping for agency meetings. Yet, the best weeks are those that just give me time to create new content. Where better to snap some beautiful winter frames than Mt. Baker, WA?!
I love fashion & the outdoors, so it only makes sense to mix the two when creating fashion posts! All I wanted was to get some outfit snaps in the snowfall, as I had not yet gotten to photograph it this year. HOORRAYYY the weather cooperated :).
My outfit is inspired by my inner “where’s waldo” and “tomboy”. I love black and white and overalls. Also, wearing a pop of color or stripes in the outdoors helps a person stand out from their surroundings. I loved how all these images turned out. We were a bit soaked after standing out there for an hour or so, but these Sorel boots are amazing and my Madewell coat kept me totally warm.
Isn’t this tree stump + shed the coolest?! I love how the roots are so prominent at the base of the tree <3.
